An award-winning filmmaker and media producer, Ben Bowman specializes in video, photo, and digital content for marketing. He began his career editing music videos for Prince in Minneapolis before studying under director Spike Lee at New York University’s Graduate Film program, where he earned an MFA and later taught.
Bowman’s critically acclaimed directorial debut, Knucklehead (2016), won over a dozen film festival awards and was distributed on Amazon Prime. In addition to his feature work, he has produced and directed documentaries, live shows, and commercials for broadcast. His photography includes executive portraits, magazine covers, and large-format campaigns.
Working in New York for much of his career, Bowman has experience in entertainment, broadcast, and marketing media production for global brands and major agencies. He has led marketing media content production operations at the NYU Stern School of Business and Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
